Alina Sacalean

 

My Name is Alina Săcălean and I am responsible for the coordination of Afterschool and language courses.

I am really pleased that my activities are not only confined to the methodical-didactic competence or to the roll of cultural mean, but also includes contacts to the most important reference persons who care for the child, namely parents, educators and teachers.

From 1995 till 1999 I studied Orthodox theology and German language as well as German literature at the Babeş-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca. In 2007 I completed an MA in Translation of Literary Texts - German at the University Bucharest.

During the last twelve years I had the opportunity to take more important initiatives on the European field which refer to the particular issue German language.

As teacher and trainer, as translator and interpreter, as author and tutor in eLearning environments and not least as exchange partner under the Socrates-Erasmus Exchange Program I could sustain the German language and culture, establish educational partnerships appropriate to didactical activities and a warm friendly atmosphere for study and work.

Meanwhile I am confident that we should give both children in the school and after school activities and parents impulses and contents, so that the openness and the tolerance of the intercultural skills can develop.
