Friederike Gribkowsky

 

I was born in Geneva where I grew up in a bilingual surrounding. German was the language in the family and French at school. For my studies I moved to Freiburg (Germany).
After several moves within Germany I have been living near Stuttgart for the last 20 years. Having 3 children from my first marriage I have been a parents representative for many years at different schools and at the kindergarten, was co-founder of some associations and quite involved in all kind of voluntary activities of our community.
In September 2009 we moved to Bucharest with our youngest son Philippe. Again I became a parents representative and started supporting the administrative part of the school as the tasks became more and more due to the growing of the school.
Cooperating at the development of the DSBU is a very interesting and complex challenge for me. I am fascinated by the interaction of the cultures and by the different ways of dealing with issues though we all have the same purpose: the well-being of the children, of our children.
