Gertraud Kitz

 

My name is Gertraud Kitz and I am from Austria. In September 2009 I arrived in Bucharest and I am very happy to work in the DSBU in different (especially musical) areas: in the school as a teacher for music and as an afterschool tutor, in the kindergarden as early music instructor, in the afterschool program as an english teacher and in kindergarden as well as in school as a piano teacher.

 

Informations about my professional career:

When I was 8 years old I had my first piano lesson at the Kärntner Landeskonservatorium. After my formation as piano teacher I continued to study music education (piano, voice and guitar) and instrumental education (piano, voice) at the University for Music in Vienna. In July 2005 I finished these studies.

During and after my studies I worked in different schools (Gymnasien) in Vienna and in two music schools in Carinthia and Lower Austria as a music and piano teacher. From 2005 until 2009 I was leading a vocal ensemble for women giving concerts for various events.

I like to work as a music educator at the DSBU and to develop the musical talents of the children.
