Christian Lindenmeyer
When leaving my hometown Berlin in 2007 I didn't expect to work one day for a german kindergarten in Bucharest. It was 40 years ago when I went to kindergarten myself and I don't remember much of it. But my two kids brought back the memories and I tried to accompany them during their time in kindergarten as much as possible.
My profession as freelance illustrator and journalist has a lot of interfaces with the daily work at the DSBU: artistic work and communication are one of the most important things. If people do not speak the same language visual aids are important for a common understanding. As I play the guitar I can also accompany the children when singing songs.
For me working with children is a great pleasure, challenge and responsibility and I try to do my very best every single day.
