Raluca Herciu

My name is Raluca Herciu. In 1999 I graduated the Choreography High School “Floria Capsali” in Bucharest. From the same year, I am employed as ballerina at the National Operetta Theater "Ion Dacian".
Since 2000, I have begun the collaboration with the television and I have been successfully active as ballerina in the entertainment productions like “I dance for you”, “Green Stars”, “Bodyguard”, “Super Bingo Metropolis”, and as choreographer and ballerina in the television programmes like “Department Stars”, “Dance Bomb”, “Teo”, etc.
At the same time, I have gone on tour to Europe with the Viennese operetta and the Budapest operetta.
Three years ago, I have begun the collaboration with the ballet studio “Ballet Art” and shortly after with kindergartens, wich have in their after school programmes classical ballet lessons. In ballet classes the children develop their musical and artistic sense, learn specific terminology and basic movements of classical ballet. Furthermore, ballet provides children with the tools to achive body alignment and graceful body movements, to acquire discipline and to keep the caress in the first.
